How going on in 2013

We have passed a quarter of a new year 2013. Are you thinking what you achieve and what you lost in this year so far? Someone got a lot and someone lost a lot.

I thought tonight a lot about it that how much I got this year and how much I lost. Truly I got a very little but lost a big this year. So one can say I am loser so far in this year. But I believe that in coming days I will get something special.

I think past is very important. We have to learn from our past and trying to avoid those mistakes which were harmful for us. We should try to forget all bad moment and go ahead with new desire.

I need to work hard in my coming days. Always I think I will work hard and will fulfill my dreams but after some days I lose my sprit and I can’t do anything special. But this is the time to forget all and try hard and hard to reach my goal. If God help me then I will be a successful man within some days.

I hope in New Year 2014 I can write here that 2013 gave me a lot and I will try my best to do that. All the best.

It has special significances. It is a day of celebrations of all classes of people at every corner of Bangladesh. People participate in the festivities together without the burden of having to reveal one's class, religion, or financial capacity.

The entire Bangladesh was decorated with festoons, placards and the red green flags. A lot of cultural programs were held all over the country.

North Bangle Tour part1

It was 24th December 2010 middle of winter, we (me and 10 of my other friends) visited North bangle. We visited two of our friend’s house, the world heritage palace Paharpur Monastery and Sopnopuri picnic spot. It was very enjoyable for us.

23rd December 2010 we reached Khulna station in evening. But we could not reserve any seat so we had to start our journey without seat. We had to pass hole night standing on the train. At last in the very early morning we reached Santahar station. There we took light breakfast then start journey to one friend’s house. It was very cold day and our mind was worm. We spent some hours there then finished a special lunch. Then we started journey to the Paharpur Monastery.

We enjoyed the journey very much. It was a memorable day for us. We spent two days in north bangle. Last day we visited dinajpur specially Sopnopuri picnic spot. We backed Khulna by train from dinajpur.

After finishing breakfast we went to sea beach. I walked longtime with two of my friends. Others enjoyed by playing a football match. We collected many nice sea-born Oysters. Then we swim in the sea for long time. We enjoyed the fishing in the sea as well.

Then we returned hotel and took our bath in a pond. Then we finished our lunch in late noon with Ilish fish. In the evening we enjoyed the sun set and shore of sea. It was so nice.

We wake up very early in next morning and went to see sun rising. We have walk 6KM to see that. Me along with my two friends reached there by running most of the path. Then we enjoyed the sun rising that was really so amazing.

I was a student of Khulna University in Computer Science & Engineering Discipline. Every year we arrange picnic/tour for enjoy all together and leave from study for refreshment.

There is a tradition in our discipline that third year students have to arrange tour but everyone including our teachers will help them. Our seniors arranged nice picnic/tour when they were in third year. We also arranged picnic when we were in 3rd year. All of them one tour was most enjoyable for me that was arranged by our juniors.

When we were final year student, our juniors (third year students) arranged an awesome tour at Kuakata sea beach (Bay of Bangle). It was my long dream to see the beauty of sea standing in beach. So I got a cheerful opportunity to fulfill my desire. I was so happy before the tour.

Necessity of Third umpire's help in LBW

A blower is blowing to an inform batsman and he misses the ball and it hit’s on his pad. The blower is appealing….. appealing… (Umpire unmoved) ... appealing and finally the umpire raise his finger. The blower is celebrating the wicket and a great disappointed batsman walking towards the pavilion. But there is a big question. It was out or not? The ball could miss the off stamp, leg stamp, height might be an issue and moreover there might be an inside edge. So a lot of questions there and many times the umpire feel hesitation to take decision.

Now a big question, why I am telling this? What I want to say? I like Cricket, I love cricket and I enjoy Cricket so much. As a Bangladeshi I love our team and it is always a special day if Bangladesh have international match on that day.

It was 31st march, 2013 I was watching the T20 match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Bangladesh was chasing 198 runs. At one stage after 7 over Bangladesh was 50/2. Then our main batsman Mohammad Ashraful went over the blower. He hit two successive six and one four. Then he was given LBW in a very poor ball from NLTC Perera. It was very disappointment for the entire spectator of Bangladesh.

Umpire took long time to give him out. He was on big hesitation and he gave out depending on blower appeal. If there is any option to ask third umpire then I think he definitely asked for third umpire help. Here is the cricinfo commentary on that moment

“NLTC Perera to Mohammad Ashraful, OUT, he's been given leg before, after a shout from Perera that went on and on and on, Ashraful swung and missed a full toss, but did that strike him outside leg? yes, it has, that is seriously poor from the umpire, at a crucial stage in the chase, against a batsman who's just hit three successive boundaries, the umpire has just caved into Thisara's long appeal”

We can easily understand form this commentary that, it was very poor decision went against a team who was chasing a very big score. And it was against their key batsman. I am not telling if he was not given out then Bangladesh would win the match. But BD can go ahead strongly. Though BD fought strongly and they lost the match by only 17 runs. So there in a question of entire BD supporters mind, if Ash(Mohammad Ashraful) was there then the result could be changed.

This is only one example but it happened in almost every match. Sometimes the decision goes in fever of batsman sometime blowers. And cricket is such like game that a wrong decision in crucial stage can change the result. So in this modern age question is that, why we are not taking the help of technology?
